• Create standard work and document via controlled work instructions
• Design and lead cross-functional Kaizen events
• Assist Quality Assurance with Root Cause Analysis and long-term corrective actions related to Quality Action Requests.
• Develop and maintain a robust, cell-specific, 6S program.
• Create statistical models for monitoring and controlling manufacturing processes.
• Create and support inspection models for QA's incoming inspection process.
• Work with others in the Mfg Eng group to create jigs/fixtures/assembly aids to reduce variation and cycle times.
• Liaison with Design Engineering to improve our design-for-manufacturability process, as well as reduce their shop-floor time requirements.
• Maintain and use all appropriate PPE
• Actively participate in accident prevention and adhere to all safety requirements
• As required, assists in other projects.

• Must have a bachelor's degree in Industrial and/or Manufacturing Engineering or an equivalent level of education and experience.
• Requires at least 2-5 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to work in a dynamic work environment in which needs are constantly changing with little or no notice. Need to be very flexible and agreeable.
